Confocal corneal endothelial microscopy |

Description of the data set.
This data set contains
52 in-vivo corneal microscopy images of 23 patients with Fuchs' endothelial corneal dystrophy were acquired using a white light slit-scanning confocal microscope (ConfoScan 4, Nidek Technologies Srl, Padova, Italy). Cells were counted manually and their outline was drawn. In addition, the included NAVIS software was used to automatically segment all cells. Finally, a novel stochastic watershed method was used to fully automatically segment the cells.
Included data:
- 52 in-vivo confocal corneal microscopy images
- Manually counted cells and their outline; and
- Morphometric data of manual and automatic segmentation, automatic segmentation by the included NAVIS software and automatic segmentation by the method of Selig et al (see below).
