Re-use our data to improve healthcare

The Rotterdam Ophthalmic Data Repository contains data sets related to ophthalmology that the Rotterdam Ophthalmic Institute has made freely available for researchers worldwide. We hope that this accelerates multi-disciplinary research ultimately resulting in better ophthalmic care.

News (more...)

May 12, 2015 - The endothelial cell data set that accompanies the recently accepted paper by Selig et al is released.
February 18, 2015 - We'd like to welcome everybody to our new data repository!

Data sets

Through this portal, we will make data sets available that result from our ophthalmic research. This includes measurements (such as visual fields and various imaging modalities), grades and other data from both diseased and normal subjects.

About us

This portal in an initiative of the Rotterdam Ophthalmic Institute, which is the research institute of the Rotterdam Eye Hospital. We put a lot of time, money and effort in acquiring data for our various studies and would like others to profit from this data as well.

Sharing data

Not all researchers, especially those working in a more technical field, have access to patients. For those who do, acquiring data is still a resource-intensive task. By sharing data, we hope that more people can do better research.
